Paul Rousteau is a French photographer based in Paris. He is a graduate of the Art School of Saint Luc in Belgium and also of the Photography School of Vevey in Switzerland.

Paul Rousteau’s imagery is influenced by surreal elements and stories and his aesthetic is boldly colourful and gloriously bright yet poetic and painterly. Paul moves seamlessly between the fields of fashion, editorial and still life whilst challenging their norms and mutating them into new avenues, with cues from collage and set design and by playing with illusion and surface. His work has been exhibited at the YIA, the Festival Images of Vevey, at the Club des Directeurs Artistiques of les Rencontres d'Arles as well as Paris Photo in 2016 with the galerie du jour agnè b. Selected among the 10 laureates of Hyères fashion and photography festival, he will show his work at Villa Noailles un April 2017.
